Join SyncLab
Work Here. Build Something.
SyncLab is a small team doing serious work. If you want to be part of it, this is where to start.
What It's Like Here
A Working Studio, Not a Workshop
SyncLab is an active production facility. On any given week, we are recording on location, editing dialogue in post, mixing in Atmos, and running equipment for productions across South India.
That means the people who work here are working — not observing. If you join SyncLab, you will be contributing to real productions from day one.
We are a small team. There is no hierarchy between departments, no separation between production and post. Everyone understands the full pipeline.

How We Work
The Culture Here
Direct
We say what we mean on set and in the studio. No ambiguity about what a production needs.
Prepared
Equipment is tested before it leaves the facility. Sessions start on time. Deliverables are ready when promised.
Curious
We read technical papers, test new tools, and ask why things work the way they do.
Accountable
If something goes wrong, we fix it. No excuses, no blame — just solutions.
Focused
We work on a small number of projects at a time and give each one full attention.
Long-term
We build relationships with filmmakers that last across multiple productions — not one-off transactions.
Current Openings
Open Positions
We are not currently advertising specific roles. However, we are always interested in meeting people who are serious about professional audio. If your background aligns with what we do, introduce yourself.

Internships
Learn on Real Productions
SyncLab internships are production-based. You will work alongside the team on active projects — not in a classroom environment.
Internship areas include Production Sound, Dialogue Editing, Sound Design, Dolby Atmos Workflow, Equipment Preparation, and SARD Research. Availability depends on the current production schedule.
SARD Contributions
Research Roles
SARD is looking for engineers and researchers with backgrounds in acoustics, analogue electronics, transducer design, or audio measurement who want to contribute to a long-term microphone development programme.
This is not a commercial product team. It is a research programme run by working film sound professionals. If that interests you, we want to hear from you.
What We Expect
The Standard We Hold
We expect the people who work here to care about the quality of their work more than the credit they receive for it.
We expect them to be honest about what they know and what they don't — and to be willing to learn the difference.
Everything else can be taught. That cannot.
"The best people in this industry are not looking for a job. They are looking for the right place to do serious work."
